Tepoztlán
1.5 hours southA mystical mountain town in Morelos, wrapped by red cliffs and topped by a small pyramid (Tepozteco) that’s a steep but rewarding hike. The Sunday market on the zócalo is one of the country’s best — stop for an itacate (a triangular masa usually stuffed with cheese and beans) and a cup of cacao-spiked atole.
